About Us
MMS started out as a Marine support business offering safety boat, pontoon and floating work platform provision. Specialist access and works over and around water. From the work carried out around the water and on maintaining pontoons, docks and moorings we branched out into architectural and structural steel erecting and installation, street works and then into design and provision of materials.
From the company’s formation in 2015 the core values of the Managing Director’s Policing background; teamwork, customer focus and delivery of well considered and prepared solutions to problems have been central to our approach.

Through careful and considerate actions we protect the environment to the highest standards in order to meet environmental legislation and regulations.
We operate within the natural world on a daily basis because we love being a part of it. We recognise that in order to protect the environment we should lead by example and instill this thinking in all of our operatives.
Glynn Melhuish — Director
The company was founded by Ex Police officer Glynn Melhuish who retired after twelve years service in a range of roles. Before joining the Police service he had a background in regional Government facilities management throughout the South East of England and Belgium.
